Director of Marketing
We’re looking for a hands-on Director of Marketing who reports to the VP of Sales & Marketing and owns one overarching objective: build a demand-generation engine that consistently fills the top of the funnel. This role is both strategic and “in the weeds.” You’ll design the playbook
and run the plays. Your day starts in the analytics panel: what’s working, what’s next, and how do we scale it across our product marketing platforms. You’ll turn our largely green-field online presence into a measurable, repeatable marketing machine through sharp SEO/SEM, content, social, lifecycle/drip programs, PR, and events, partnering tightly with Sales to convert interest into demos. Our product and revenue are mature; our marketing muscle needs the builder’s touch. If you love experimenting, iterating, and driving results, this is your sandbox.

What you’ll do

  • Own attribution & analytics. Stand up end-to-end lead-source tracking and reporting; monitor daily performance; optimize spending and content to what moves the pipeline.

  • Build the digital foundation. Lead a green-field effort to elevate our online presence across dealr.cloud, Dealer Title Solutions, and dealr.com: site IA, on-page SEO, technical SEO, conversion paths, and SEM program management.

  • Create the content engine. Set the strategy and editorial calendar; write and edit long- and short-form assets (blogs, guides, case studies, landing pages, emails, ads) that educate, rank, and convert.

  • Run lifecycle & outbound. Launch drip/nurture programs for prospects and sales pipeline; partner with Sales on proactive campaigns and sequences that progress leads to demos.

  • Manage social media. Stand up and scale our social channels into a consistent, on-brand demand and awareness machine.

  • Lead product marketing & PR. Plan and execute launches for new products and features; manage announcements, partner spotlights, media outreach, and thought leadership.

  • Operationalize CRM & funnel health. Work with Sales and IT to ensure our CRM, lead routing, scoring, and enrichment are rock-solid for fast follow-up and clean reporting.

  • Own events. Plan and execute trade shows and field events end-to-end (pre-show promotion, logistics, booth strategy, lead capture, and post-show follow-up).

  • Partner for revenue. Align with Sales on MQL/SQL definitions, demo targets, and feedback loops so we’re creating (and converting) true top-of-funnel demand.

  • Continuously improve. Test new channels, creatives, and offers; document what works and productize it into repeatable playbooks for the team.

Who you are

  • A Marketing Maven – you turn qualitative feedback and large data sets into clear strategies, recommendations, and next actions.

  • A Go-Getter – you’re obsessed with building, unafraid to get your hands dirty, and you default to action without burning out.

  • A Workforce Unicorn – equally comfortable thinking strategically and executing tactically; you pivot fast and bring creative ideas to new challenges.

  • A Great Communicator – crisp writing, strong storytelling, and excellent grammar across emails, pages, and campaigns.

  • Tech-Savvy / Tech Titan – fluent with SEO/SEM tools, analytics platforms, CRM/marketing automation, and website/CMS basics.

  • A Seasoned Project Manager – you tame complex campaign calendars and always know what’s shipping next.

  • A Creative Problem Solver – you test, learn, and iterate your way to results.

Benefits:

  • Medical Insurance

  • Dental Insurance

  • Vision Insurance

  • Flex Spending Account

  • Life Insurance

  • 401k (2026)

Job requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or director-level role managing people, budgets, and strategy.

  • Experience in B2B software, SaaS, or technology marketing (automotive industry experience strongly preferred).

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new products, features, or services.

  • Hands-on experience managing demand generation programs, including inbound/outbound marketing, events, and lead nurturing.

  • Experience with event marketing, including trade shows, webinars, and conferences — from planning through post-event analysis.

  • Strong understanding of content strategy, including creation of both short-form (data sheets, battle cards, email campaigns) and long-form (buyer’s guides, white papers, case studies) materials.

  • Proficiency with marketing automation and CRM systems, such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar tools.

  • Data-driven mindset with experience tracking and reporting on marketing performance, ROI, and pipeline metrics.

  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Executive teams.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree a plus).
